Towards the end of the Edo period in 1823, Gihei Kiuchi founded the Kiuchi Brewery. With locally grown and harvested rice, the purest water from the local Kounosu well, paired with the utmost care and passion, the first drop of Kikusakari Sake was brewed.
Kiuchi Brewery has sustained its meticulous craftsmanship through 8 generations and will continue this legacy with passion and hard work.
